An alarm went off during our sail. Turns out there was water in hull. Bec had to sponge it out so the alarm would stop.
When we got here we had to try a few different ports before we found one that had an open space for us. We finally found a spot in Port Fiumicino which turned out to be a pretty good location, so we got lucky once again. The harbor master here is a guy named Luigi who doesn't speak any English but he's easy to understand because he acts everything out so well. It's kind of like playing Charades.
Once we got settled we got pizza
and spent some time getting oriented with the bus system so that we would be ready bright and early for sightseeing tomorrow.
