It was pouring rain this morning so we tried to wait it out a little before heading back to Toulon to pick up our packages. We got to Toulon and split up to accomplish some tasks so we could get back on our way.
Apparently I have developed an allergy to the sun/heat and have broken out in small little bumps all over my hands and the top of my feet. So I went to a pharmacy to get some medication. She was a little worried about it and sent me to a doctor. He prescribed some antihistomine pills of some sort. (It's all in French so I'm not exactly sure what it is) but he spoke pretty good english and I'm feeling much better.
In the meantime Juliann, Mal, and my Dad went to find Mr. Bricolage (a hardware store)
to get some supplies for a plank/passrail. They got lost on the way and somehow managed to end up in a prison/military security place where they eventually got directions. It took about an hour for them to figure out what they needed to make it as well as find a translator to help them explain it all. They also had to rent a drill from the store and rather than bring it all the way back to the boat, my Dad decided to just drill his holes right in front of the store since that was where the nearest power source was.
They finally met me at the grocery store for our final stock up and we headed back for Porquerolles for the night. On to St. Tropez in the morning!!!! Finally we are on our way!!

I love this blog. The foibles and joys are hilarious. I cannot believe you guys have kept it up so far. I am very very jealous that I am sitting here at my desk staring at Public's front door. But their new sign is quite cute.
Have fun
