Day 23

This morning we packed up and left Monoco for our next country. Bonjourno Italy!!. Our first stop in Italy was supposed to be a small port in San Remo. It's not too far from Monoco but somehow we couldn't quite seem to find it. We're suspicious that the coordinates in our Italian Waters Pilot Book might have been off. We decided instead to just find a port in the general area and ended up at Marina degli Aregai. It is a small empty place with brand new facilities in the harbor, but not much to see in the surrounding town. In the end it was a blessing that we ended up here. They happened to have a Lagoon (the brand of our boat) office of all things. This was convenient because we have been trying for a few days to schedule the boat's first 50 hour tune up service, but haven't been able to get an appointment with the other office in Genoa. These people were able to schedule us for first thing in the morning and this really saved us a lot of time in the end.

We ate gnocchi and ravioli to celebrate our first day in Italy.
