Day 18

This morning started with an early morning swim for Big Al to retrieve his phone.

He found it and just kept swimming after being pleasantly surprised at how nice the water is.

Then we made our way on a boat (even though we are living on a boat) over to the old town of St. Tropez.

This town is filled with gigantic yachts everywhere. It was nice and hot out, so made our way through the cute old town of winding alleyways and then hiked to the top of the hill where the old fort was (and a peacock).

Another beautiful view at the top!

We just sort of explored the town,

walked through the shops, ate some lunch,

and found this candy store for a little snack.

Malorie thinks she spotted Cameron Diaz in an old red Mustang. There were some cute cars in this town.

We took the water taxi back to the
Port Grimaud and went into the little downtown near the port which has water running through the middle.

Another great day in the French Riviera!!

How beautiful! I sympathize with your dad on losing his phone. However, it does sound much more exotic to say you dropped your phone in the Mediterranean Sea than, sa--hypothetically--a sewer on Herman Street. Miss you guys.

I'm trying to think of something clever to say, but there's only so many ways of saying "that's so incredibly cool and I'm dieing of jealousy." Keep up the great pictures and the great stories.

Once I washed William's cell phone. It went through a whole cycle and I found it before it went into the dryer. He took the battery off and baked the phone on very low heat. Amazingly the phone still worked! It had lost it's ability to ring though so he had to get a new one so work could call him. CRAZY! How much candy did you eat? I love candy! I also love dolphins! Your video was wonderful...I especially loved the excitement in all of your voices. Love ya!

Dolphins love candy. Esp. pop rocks. I am sure the locals would love it if you sprinkle some in the water. Think of all the good you'd be doing for the US image abroad by feeding the dolphins delicious candy! Good idea? I think SOOO! You're welcome.

Let's see, while you were on the Mediterranean, I went to a kindergarten play, a trip to the ER for a broken wrist, and changed a million poopy diapers. Cool blog! Love, Paige, Ellie's sister, Jim and Pam's daughter, one of the Greenan's, Jeff's wife, Fifi's mom, etc.
