Day 1

So far, we're still alive. We made it to London! It was a rocky start taking public transportation to SFO. Lindsay's muni bus broke down and Juliann and Malorie got slammed about 50 times by the muni door trying to get all of Malorie's luggage on the bus, but we made it.

We got to our hotel about 2:30pm only to find out that somehow we were only booked for a single room instead of a room for 3. So after a little scare, they were able to put us up in a quad room. We had to hike it up 4 flights of stairs with all our luggage to this beautiful surprise.

We were totally exhausted after traveling but decided we better go out while we could. It was such a beautiful day outside. We just explored a little, walked down to Portabello Road, had a little dinner, and then walked through Kensington park. Some of the highlights were a kitty on a leash and a squirrel on this girls lap.

Malorie just informed us that she forgot to bring her pile of jeans. She has one pair of pants and one skirt. But she did remember her entire make up brush collection as well as her "satin hands kit", and a teddy bear.

We're exhausted time to get some sleep.

I'm so glad that you made it safely and were able to enjoy some of London. Was the lady feeding the squirrel or just letting it sit on her? Very strange. Domesticated squirrel.....hmm..
